Cut+Dry Ideas

This may be more of a questions, but seems there is some clarification that could be added to verbiage on the screen at minimum. When an item is linked (enriched) but has no images, best is still chosen by default. When switching to custom you lose the benefit of you all possibly in future having "better" images. However, via trial/error, it seems that if you upload custom and then switch to "Best", the custom images still show. Is this intended, because if so, it is sort of a best of both worlds as I assume if images are later added to your enriched item, those images may take over?
